Timsbury Preschool is a happy place which fosters a strong sense of community and gives children a solid start on their journey as little people.
Our aim is to provide a stimulating, caring environment where children develop as confident and enquiring individuals.
We promote independence, allowing children to get involved in routines, such as snack time. They enjoy sitting together, helping to cut up the fruit, butter crackers and pour their own milk.
We also incorporate forest school sessions during the year. We have forest school trained staff and are lucky enough to be able to make use of St Mary's School's wooded area and extensive grounds.
We operate a keyperson system that helps us know the children well and helps the children to feel secure. The children’s confidence and concentration skills are plain to see due to the close support and consistent praise offered by the staff.
We use Tapestry to track children's EYFS progress and this is available for parents to view via a personal log in. Here you can view all your child's observations, with photographs, during their time at Pre-School. Every term parents are offered a chance to find out how their child is progressing during a parent consultation.
